The Elmhurst Branch of Queens Public Library was recently renovated, upgraded, and finally opened to the public in 2016. The new facility replaces the iconic 1904 Carnegie building and doubles its size with double height spacing and suspended structural-glass for cozy reading areas. The gorgeous lighting design illuminates the building after dark with luminous and glowing lights. "My personal favorites would be the reading room on the second floor and the outdoor seatings. They're simply gorgeous."
